    Wee Drummers - Open Day
    Come along and enjoy the Pre-school and After-school open day with us. Full information on the free Pre-school year and other supports which may be available. Call 049 5555994 for further information. Funded under the National Development Plan.

    Church of Ireland - Sale of Work
    Annual Sale of Work will take place in Drum Protestant Hall on the above date DV. Your support would be appreciated.

    Easter Camp at Wee Drummers
    - Monday 14^th April 2014
      - For 2 1/2 to 5 years
    - Tuesday 15^th April 2014
      - For 4 to 12 years
    Time daily 09:30 to 12:30pm. Cost €12.00
    Exciting Easter workshops have been planned and will include an Easter egg hunt, games and crafts. Please bring a packed lunch. Call 049 5555994 for further information. Funded under the National Development Plan.

    Community Spring Clean
    A Community Spring Clean is being organised by Drum Development Association in support of the village tidy towns initiative. Please come along help make a difference in your area. Refreshments will be served. Supported by the Environmental section of Monaghan County Council.

    Lecture on World War I (The Great War)
    Come along to a special heritage night on the topic of "The Great War" with guest speaker Quincy Dougan in Drum Protestant Hall. All are welcome to attend, refreshments will be served on the night. Supported by the Department of Foreign Affairs Reconciliation Fund. This event is organised by Drum Development Association.

    Tractor Run in Drum Village
    The above event organised by Drum Development Association is open to old and new tractors, vintage cars and Honda 50's
    Registration from 1.30 pm in Drum Presbyterian Hall
    Start time is 2.00 pm from church hall
    Cost of entry: €10.00
    Valid insurance essential
    Free refreshments served to all entrants when run is complete
    Everyone welcome and all proceeds of the event will go to Drum Tidy Towns

    Pimp My Planter Competition
    This fun competition is open to both children and adults. Find the most unusual or interesting discarded item in your attic, kitchen, garage, farm-yard, garden shed etc. and plant it up with summer flowers. Use your imagination and win an exciting prize. Your entry must not exceed three feet in either height or width and must be portable.
    
    Judging will take place at our annual Bar-B-Que on Bank Holiday 04^th August, 2014 at Drum Lough.
    Go on, go on, go on..... get planting and bring your entry along to the Bar-B-Que!! You may have more than one entry. For further details contact Barbara on 086 3009500. Supported by Monaghan County Council, Environmental Fund.

    Drum Development's annual Bar-B-Que is held on the August Bank Holiday Monday each year.
    This is a fundraiser for Wee Drummers Childcare.

    Stewarts Shop re-opened under new management in Drum Village.
    Congratulations to Tracey and William on their new venture. We would encourage all local people to support the re-opened shop, as it is much needed within the local area.

    You are invited to an evening programme to mark the formation of the original Ulster Volunteer Force (UVF) in 1913 on Saturday 23^rd November. This will feature an exhibition of the Great War (World War I) and other UVF artefacts, and will be open to view from 5:30pm in Drum Protestant Hall. At 8:00pm a talk on the original UVF in Co. Monaghan will be given by Quincy Dougan.
    All welcome and refreshments will be served.

    Santa Morning
    Santa will be arriving to greet and handout gifts to the children at Wee Drummers on 07^th December 2013 at 11:00am
